Danny the Wonder Pony is longstanding icon of the fetish scene as a staple in the salad days of the Lime Light, interviewed by the BDSM canon, Different Loving, and now by yours truly.

PD: You are very focused on your interest, being a pony. When did you realize that it was your specific bent?

DWP: I was 12 years old and was ridden by a 12 yr. old Girl who lived next door. This experience found its way into my sexual fantasies from then on, and you know teenagers can't get enough.

PD: Have you ever carried anyone besides a woman?  Just to experiment?  In college perhaps?

DWP: Nope. I am not homophobic or whatever, but besides my fetish being is ridden by ladies, there is a lot of horse sense to this decision. Men are bigger. If I would give a ride to one guy, then I would have to give rides to all guys or justify not giving a ride if a guy was too large. Its already a touchy subject with the ladies, can you imagine an angry TV? "You say'n I'm fatter than that bitch?" This policy has worked out very nicely.

PD: You know, even there are more pony players, most of them are pony girls and it’s not like there is a “Pony Play Mart.”  Where do you get your tack?

DWP: I used to manage a dude ranch long ago, so there was the ability to pick up pieces of whatever here and there. The main saddle was given to me by a sixteen year old wrangler who wanted to see me do it right. She had to test it out of course. This was my first outdoor ride, and one of the longest. I found out just how hard a lady can ride her Pony right from the starting gate.

DWP: I often wonder what became of that cowbabe.

PD: What was your first introduction as a professional show pony?

DWP: At Plato's Retreat, 1985, and never looked back.

PD: Do you *ahem* ever go bareback?

PD: Every girl wanted a pony.  Do you feel satisfied in making all those girls’--all-grown-up—fantasies come true?

DWP: That’s what its all about Cowbabe

PD: I’m a bid lass, can I ride you around?

DWP: What’s “a big lass” mean? If it means big, I surprise everyone considering I am not an extra big Pony. I am known for giving great DOUBLE rides, so we would work something out.

PD: What’s the most interesting party you’ve attended as a pony?

DWP: That’s like saying what was the best meal you've ever eaten. Ponies don't live on one party alone.

I’ve done the whole gamut, from raunchy S?M to High class bachelorette, to sweet sixteen parties!

PD: How do parties usually find you to hire?

DWP: Word of mouth, the Internet, TV, magazines, and I must have given over 10-15,000 cards out personally throughout my Pony Career.

PD: How often to you get to be a pony?

DWP: I perform several times a week. Lately a lot of private parties, both kinky and normal bachelorette, although I still do Nightclubs several times a month as well.

PD: I understand that you are taking a series of pictures next to all things “wonder.”  Tell me how that’s going.

DWP: Not as fast as I would have liked.

PD: How many videos do you have out now?  What kind of videos are they and where can I get some for my elaborate fetish video collection?

DWP: I think there are 8 or 10 still available. Most of them are not available anymore although the ones that are can be found at "The Grand Duchess’s” website. The whole collection has been available on my premium site, The Diamond Horzshoe, but there are no more memberships being taken and this site will close soon for a undetermined amount of time.

PD: Do other ponies look up to you, or are they impudent upstarts?

DWP: I get almost 100% positive feedback from other ponies

PD: Have you been to the human pony show in Texas?

DWP: Not yet.

PD: Do you take your sneakers off at night and put them above your door for good luck?

DWP: There are horse shoes already occupying the space.

PD: What was your favorite pony ride of recent memory?

DWP: The last one and the next one, always.

PD: Are you ready to go out to stud or are you still a workhorse?

DWP: I prefer to do both.
